The PS3 can be found online at ebay and craigslist for a cheap price.
Sure its used, but the PS3 hardware is very reliable, so it doesn't matter if its used---it will still play games and movies. Not to mention people will usually bundle all their games with it, so you can hit the ground running :)

I remember when I used to play "Decent" on Windows95. I used to play that game for hours.
XP is still the King as far as I'm concerned but from what i've heard, the Beta for Windows 7 is pretty slick.
I am really excited for it. I mean, before it was just fun, but now it seems like the controls should be really advanced. Enough to where now we can get some serious competitiveness going while playing our buds.
I would like to see some more games this year. More than what have been touted so far.

But I liked the first Transformer Movie game. It had a lot potential, but it just seems as if there wasn't enough time spent on the expanse of the world you were playing it. But I did like the massive amount of destruction you could deal out, and hauling ass down a straight away as a car and then transforming while still in forward-motion was kinda cool. I look forward to the next game. I hope a lot of improvements were made.
